In the 250th anniversary year of the Declaration of Independence, FreedomFest 2026: Think Independent will bring together the voices, debates, ideas, and institutions shaping the future of freedom—and PERK has once again become an important part of that conversation.
For states like California, where I reside with my family, sympathetic and motivated representatives are ready to fight to protect your parental rights, health freedom, and your children. These national initiatives are vital for those of us in more hostile, extreme states. We need the support of Congress, the Senate, and our policy makers to create new solutions that both respect state rights, and help us win this issue nationally.

We sent out one final coalition letter regarding SB 1377 (Jones). This bill would not be possible without Senator Brian Jones and the bipartisan support from co-authors Senator Cortese and Senator Allen.
As the sponsor of SB 1377, on behalf of PERK, I want to encourage us all to keep the faith and tenacity.
