Amy Bohn Keynote at PIC’s 10th Anniversary and Silver Booklet Launch Celebration

Dear PERK Family,

We are grateful to share an important update highlighting a powerful moment of alignment between two organizations committed to truth, transparency, and informed consent.

PERK President Amy Bohn was honored to deliver a keynote address at the 10th Anniversary Celebration of Physicians for Informed Consent (PIC) in Huntington Beach. The evening marked a decade of PIC’s physician-led work advancing evidence-based education and protecting the foundational principle of informed consent in medicine.

For PERK supporters, this moment reflects something bigger: the growing national convergence of parental rights advocacy, ethical medicine, and medical freedom. The energy in the room was unmistakable, and the momentum coming out of this event is already translating into real-world impact.

Amy Bohn Keynote at PIC

In her keynote, Amy Bohn connected the lived experiences of families navigating mandates and coercive policies with the critical role physicians play when they are empowered to speak honestly, ethically, and stand for informed consent. She shared the importance of PIC’s work and how they are not alone, as we the people, stand beside them.  Her message underscored a shared truth PERK families know well: informed parents, supported physicians, and transparent systems lead to better outcomes for children, families, and public trust.

Influential Leaders and Voices in Attendance

PIC’s 10th Anniversary brought together an extraordinary group of respected physicians, legal experts, and advocates who have shaped the informed consent and medical freedom landscape. Those present included physicians such as Bob Sears, Jeffrey Barke, Paul Thomas, and Joel Warsh, alongside attorneys Greg Glaser and Rick Jaffe. The celebration also honored PIC’s founder, Shira Miller, whose leadership helped lay the foundation for a decade of principled, physician-led advocacy. Many others joined and spoke throughout the evening, reflecting the depth, strength, and importance of this growing national coalition with memorable origins.

Highlighting PIC’s Silver Booklet

A major highlight of PIC’s anniversary celebration was the launch celebration of their new Silver Booklet, Vaccines and the Diseases They Target. This thoroughly referenced resource is designed to help families, clinicians, and policymakers objectively evaluate disease risk versus vaccine risk using clear data and citations.

In just the past few weeks, more than 1,000 copies of the Silver Booklet have already been placed into circulation, reaching families, doctors, and decision-makers actively seeking credible, evidence-based information. For PERK supporters, this booklet represents a valuable educational tool you may wish to share with your physician, school leaders, or local library.

National Spotlight on The HighWire with Del Bigtree

Momentum accelerated even further when Dr. Bob Sears joined Del Bigtree on The Highwire With Del Bigtree for a full segment focused on PIC’s Silver Booklet, the hepatitis B debate, and the lack of long-term safety data for vaccinating newborns.

Their discussion brought objective, referenced information on disease risk versus vaccine risk to a national audience and helped elevate PIC’s work at a critical moment when parents and policymakers alike are reexamining long-standing assumptions in public health.

Real Impact Is Already Happening

Shortly after the Silver Booklet launch and national media attention, ACIP voted to remove its recommendation for the hepatitis B vaccine birth dose in normal-risk infants, restoring greater parental discretion and reducing pressure for immediate vaccination at birth. Federal health officials are now considering broader changes to the entire U.S. childhood vaccine schedule.

Progress like this does not happen in a vacuum. It happens when accurate information reaches the right people at the right time, and when organizations like PERK and PIC continue to lead with courage and integrity.

Holiday Promotion on the Silver Booklet

For PERK families looking for trusted educational resources, PIC is offering a holiday promotion on the Silver Booklet. It’s available in a hardcover edition, paperback edition, and bulk discounts. This is ideal for gifting to your doctor or local library.

As we close out the year with key highlights, we are encouraged to see trusted coalition partners like PIC advancing the same principles PERK fights for every day. Supporting aligned efforts through education, advocacy, and collaboration strengthens the entire movement.

Thank you for standing with PERK and for continuing to protect children, defend families, and preserve freedom.
