FreedomFest begins on July 8, the exact anniversary of the first public reading of the Declaration of Independence in 1776—and the entire festival is designed as a living tribute to that moment.
Highlights include:
• A dramatic reading of the Declaration by actor Dean Cain during opening ceremonies
• Glenn Beck’s immersive history presentation
• A full “Spirit of 1776” live stage revue (with Steve Forbes returning as George Washington)
• The PragerU Freedom Truck mobile museum on-site
• A symbolic Liberty Bell ringing experience supporting nonprofit causes
• And a reimagined Independence Ball—a formal 18th-century-inspired celebration to close the week
